Data Ownership
Kinetyq operates under the following principles:
6.1 Fleet Ownership of Identifiable Telemetry
Fleet customers retain ownership of identifiable raw operational telemetry generated by their enrolled vehicles or assets.
Kinetyq processes such data solely to provide contracted monitoring and analytics services.
6.2 Kinetyq Intellectual Property & Derived Intelligence
Kinetyq retains exclusive ownership of:
Analytical methodologies
Risk scoring systems
Degradation models
Benchmarking frameworks
Aggregated and anonymized datasets
Statistical derivatives and predictive systems
Kinetyq may retain anonymized and aggregated datasets for model improvement and benchmarking purposes, even after termination of service, provided such data cannot reasonably identify a specific fleet or asset.
How We Use Data
Kinetyq uses collected data to:
Provide asset monitoring services
Generate predictive health and risk analytics
Improve system accuracy and model performance
Support authorized financial or insurance integrations
Maintain system security and integrity
All predictive analytics and risk assessments are informational tools and do not constitute guarantees of asset performance, financial outcomes, or risk elimination.
Data Sharing
8.1 General Principle
Kinetyq does not sell identifiable fleet data to third parties.
Identifiable operational telemetry data is not shared with financial institutions, insurers, or third parties without explicit authorization from the fleet customer.
8.2 Financial Integrations
If a fleet customer opts into financing or insurance integration programs:
Only authorized risk metrics or health scores may be shared.
Raw telemetry logs are not shared unless expressly approved.
Consent may be revoked at any time.
Revocation does not affect prior lawful processing.
8.3 Aggregated & Anonymized Data
Kinetyq may use aggregated and anonymized datasets to improve predictive accuracy, benchmarking, and system performance.
Such datasets do not contain identifiable fleet information.
Data Security
Kinetyq implements technical and organizational safeguards including:
Encryption of data in transit (TLS protocols)
Encryption of data at rest
Role-based access controls
Secure cloud hosting environments
Activity logging and monitoring
Segregation of development and production environments
In the event of a material data breach affecting identifiable fleet data, Kinetyq will notify affected customers without undue delay and in accordance with applicable legal requirements.
Data Retention

Aggregated and anonymized datasets may be retained indefinitely for model development and system improvement.
Fleet customers may request data export or deletion in accordance with contractual terms and applicable law.
Subprocessors
Kinetyq may engage third-party service providers (such as cloud infrastructure providers or device connectivity providers) to support service delivery.
Kinetyq ensures such subprocessors implement appropriate technical and organizational safeguards.

International Data Transfers
Where data is processed across jurisdictions, Kinetyq implements appropriate contractual, technical, and organizational safeguards to protect cross-border data transfers in accordance with applicable law.
Customer Rights
Fleet customers may:
Request access to their identifiable telemetry data
Request correction of inaccurate information
Request deletion subject to legal and contractual limitations
Control participation in financial data-sharing programs
