Kinetyq Asset Intelligence Platform
Kinetyq is designed as secure asset intelligence infrastructure.
We prioritize operational transparency, data integrity, and responsible predictive analytics across global cloud environments.
Data Ownership & Contro
Data Ownership & Control
Kinetyq operates under defined ownership principles:
● Fleet customers retain ownership of identifiable operational telemetry generated by their enrolled vehicles.
● Kinetyq acts as a data processor with respect to fleet telemetry.
● Customers are responsible for ensuring lawful collection and use of telemetry data, including providing required notices or obtaining necessary consents.
● Kinetyq retains ownership of proprietary analytics models, scoring methodologies, and aggregated anonymized datasets.
Kinetyq does not sell identifiable fleet data.
Optional financial or insurance integrations require explicit customer authorization.
Secure Architecture & Infrastructure
Kinetyq employs layered technical and organizational safeguards to protect data confidentiality and integrity.
Encryption:
● Data is encrypted in transit using industry-standard TLS protocols.
● Data is encrypted at rest using industry-standard encryption mechanisms within secure cloud environments.
● Backup data is encrypted where applicable.
Access Controls:
● Role-Based Access Control (RBAC) restricts internal access to authorized personnel.
● Administrative actions are logged and retained.
● Access permissions are reviewed periodically.
● Production access is restricted and monitored.
Environment Segregation:
● Production and development environments are logically separated.
● Testing environments do not use identifiable fleet data unless expressly authorized.
Global Cloud Infrastructure & Cross-Border Processing
● Kinetyq leverages secure global cloud infrastructure providers to ensure scalability, redundancy, and availability.
● Operational data may be processed in secure cloud environments located outside a fleet’s primary jurisdiction of operation.
● Where cross-border data transfers occur, Kinetyq implements appropriate contractual, technical, and organizational safeguards to protect data integrity and confidentiality in accordance with applicable laws.
● Where required by contractual or regulatory obligations, regional hosting or segmented storage models may be implemented.
Data Integrity & Operational Limitations
Kinetyq designs systems to support high data integrity. However, telemetry accuracy may be affected by:
● Device limitations
● Vehicle configuration differences.
● Installation quality
● Environmental conditions
● Network interruptions
Kinetyq does not warrant uninterrupted or error-free data transmission.
Predictive analytics are probabilistic models based on available inputs.
Data Minimization & Proportionality
Kinetyq collects only data necessary to:
● Deliver monitoring services
● Generate predictive insights
● Improve risk modeling accuracy
Data collection practices align with principles of necessity and proportionality.
Optional integrations are consent-based.
Anonymization & Model Development
To enhance predictive performance:
● Kinetyq may use aggregated and anonymized datasets.
● Such datasets cannot reasonably identify individual fleets or vehicles when used independently.
● Derived intelligence strengthens benchmarking and degradation modeling.
Subprocessors & Vendor Governance
● Kinetyq may engage trusted third-party providers for cloud infrastructure, connectivity, and device integration.
● Kinetyq conducts reasonable diligence when engaging subprocessors and requires contractual commitments regarding data protection and security safeguards.
● A current list of subprocessors is available upon request.
Incident Response & Monitoring
Kinetyq maintains internal procedures for:
● Detecting anomalous activity
● Investigating security events
● Mitigating potential impact
Administrative and system-level activities are logged.
In the event of a confirmed material data breach affecting identifiable fleet data, Kinetyq will notify affected customers without undue delay in accordance with applicable law.
Business Continuity & Data Resilience
Kinetyq maintains backup and recovery processes designed to support business continuity and data resilience within its cloud infrastructure environment.
Data Retention & Lifecycle
Identifiable telemetry data is retained:
● During active service
● For a limited period following termination for compliance, audit, or dispute resolution
Aggregated and anonymized datasets may be retained for ongoing model development.
Customers may request data export in accordance with contractual terms.
